Town Of Rangely Announces Stage 3 Water Restrictions

The Town of Rangely, Colorado has announced Stage 3 Water Restrictions. The announcement states that “given concerns regarding water intake and river flow, the Water Conservation District will augment the water supply for the Town of Rangely by releasing additional flow from Kenny Reservoir. Consequently, we have initiated Stage 3 Water Restrictions.” Dated August 22nd, the announcement states that due to the severe water shortage in the White River, the Town of Rangely is adjusting the outdoor watering schedule and customers are permitted to water outdoors 2 days per week. Residential and Commercial fines have been implemented for those watering outside their designated days or times or for using potable water in a way that contradicts allowed uses.
