Rotary Club Already Busy with Santa’s Community Effort

Santa’s Community Effort has a long and successful history in Uintah County with the Rotary Club now keeping the cause organized and running great. Even with economic downturn, locals each year take tags from the trees around town and follow through by donating gifts for the children assigned. Last year, Rotary member C.J. Davis described the gratitude and surprise of the Rotary club for how generous community members and businesses were to the cause even with it being a difficult time in the economy. The hope is that the generosity will continue this year to help brighten the holidays for local families in need. While that stage of the process is not quite here, the Rotary Club has announced the cause is getting underway. The Vernal Rotary Club is now accepting applications for those who hope to be recipients of Santa’s Community Effort this Christmas. Applications are now available at Davis Food and Drug and must be turned in by
November 24th.
