PhenomeCon Welcomes Paranormal Enthusiasts From Around The World

It was another amazingly successful PhenomeCon paranormal conference held at the Uintah Conference Center over the weekend in Vernal. The sold-out event had 1500 people in attendance from 44 states and multiple foreign countries, including England, Sweden, Canada, and Australia. Over 90% of attendees are from outside the area contributing to the event’s estimated economic impact of over $10 million dollars. "Each year the conference just keeps getting better and better,” shares Bridget Lake, Chair of the PhenomeCon conference. “We are able to attract the biggest players in the paranormal world to travel to Vernal because PhenomeCon has a reputation of being the best paranormal conference in the country. With personal add-on activities that allow attendees to have one-on-one time with speakers, to the subjects they speak on and the information that gets shared only at Phenomecon to the closing reception…It’s an experience you only get by attending PhenomeCon.” Lesha Coltharp, Uintah County Director of Tourism, puts it best. "What once was a thought of how to provide an experience for visitors traveling to the area to visit the popular paranormal Skinwalker Ranch has grown into a successful 4 day conference that brings people from all over the world to our community for 5 plus days to experience top speakers on the subjects of skinwalkers, aliens, Bigfoot, night sky and everything paranormal,” shares Coltharp. “It’s out of this world what this has turned into.” The 2027 PhenomeCon is scheduled for September 8th through the 11th.
