A suspicious looking object on the side of I-80 caused serious concern on Tuesday in Sweetwater County. A case of domestic violence in Vernal has one man facing six charges including one count of rape. According to the Vernal Police Probable Cause statement, 27-year-old Zachary David Perrin was arrested on August 17th as he tried to flee from the Basin but was stopped in Duchesne County and brought into custody.
It’s never too early to prepare for the winter season. September is National Preparedness Month and as it wraps up, Uintah County Emergency Manager Tal Ehlers is urging folks Basin wide to get winter preparations underway, especially in vehicles.
