Utah Aerospace Community Coming to Basin

Upcoming events with the Utah Aerospace Community has locals dreaming of big possibilities. According to Duchesne County Economic Development Director Irene Hansen, the upcoming visit and future prospects are very exciting. “The Aerospace industry is reaching out to rural Utah,” shares Hansen. “Thanks to our state partners, we are hoping these events really plant some seeds that will inspire a future for the Aerospace Industry in Utah.” The event in Roosevelt will be held on Wednesday, October 5th at the Grace Event Center from


6:00 – 8:00pm

at the Uintah County Conference Center from

. According to Governor Herbert’s Office of Economic Development, aerospace manufacturing has taken off in the state of Utah. Boeing and other industry leaders have partnered with Utah to create a strong aerospace manufacturing workforce and the Governor’s Office is encouraging Basin officials to consider the possibilities of bringing the aerospace industry to eastern Utah. Hansen says next week’s events will provide the community with the information needed on the new possibilities. “The Uintah Basin has always been proactive and willing to dream big,” says Hansen.
