KNEU 1250A judge has refused the Motions to Dismiss filed in the upcoming Flatlip/Rondeau trial. The defense for the three men awaiting trial for the alleged rape of a 9-year-old Uintah County girl in 2016 filed separate motions earlier this year to dismiss the rape case against the men.
Last month TriCounty Health promoted a national day of activism aimed at empowering youth to stand up against Big Tobacco and “Kick Butt.” Kick Butts Day was observed on March 21st and Uintah and Duchesne County Youth Coalitions planned events in local schools to educate peers on the dangers of tobacco use.
A semi tanker rollover on Highway 40 closed both directions of Highway 40 on Wednesday morning. According to Utah Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at approximately 7:10am near the Strawberry UDOT sheds at milepost 42.

A residential fire in Rock Springs unveiled a long list of criminal activity within. According to the Rock Springs Police Department, law agencies responded to the call of the house fire last Wednesday at approximately 10:05am. With the help of 3 fire trucks and 11 fire department employees, the fire was extinguished within 7 minutes.
