NO Fireworks Anywhere in Unincorporated Uintah County

No fireworks are allowed in unincorporated Uintah County and the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office is sharing maps to clarify the boundaries.  “With the extreme drought conditions we are facing in Uintah County and around the state, please take a minute to read and know what the firework and other fire restrictions are,” shares the Sheriff’s Office. “NO fireworks of any kind are allowed in unincorporated Uintah County. This means that if you are outside of Vernal, Naples, or Ballard city limits, this order applies.  If you are inside city limits, please refer to those cities for additional direction. The [maps provided on the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page] will hopefully provide clarification to those with questions about city boundaries. Anything outside of the gray areas on the maps indicate unincorporated Uintah County. Due to the situation we are in, we urge all to adhere to the orders. Citations will be issued to those found to be in violation. Be smart and stay safe out there!”
