UBTech has entered into a new scholarship partnership with FJ Management (FJM) to bless the lives of local UBTech students. A UBTech press release explains that FJM was formerly known as Flying J, and in Utah is most closely associated with the Maverik gas and convenience store chain. A $40,000 dollar a year earning potential stipulation in the scholarship partnership with UBTech is an important caveat of FJM CEO Crystal Call Maggelet. UBTech President Aaron Weight met Maggelet through networking with another UBTech scholarship partner. As a result, he was able to arrange a meeting with her, said Mark Dockins, Vice President of Development at UBTech. “We are always looking for ways to ensure that students have sufficient funds for their technical education, which is a highly economical way for students to be trained and enter the workforce,” explained Dockins. Applications for the FJM Fund scholarship are being taken now. “The scholarship will be applied toward tuition and fees,” said Dockins.
