In what has become a fun annual tradition, the Naples City New Year’s Eve Fireworks show is on for tonight! Now in its 4th year, Naples City is gaining a reputation as a fun spot to kick off welcoming in the new year. It’s also become tradition to find yourself in Naples on the Pioneer Day holiday every 24th of July. As a testament of the events growing popularity, Naples Mayor Dean Baker shares that the 24th of July fireworks show was so well attended they ran out of parking. Tonight the show starts at 8:00 pm at the Naples City Park. “We are supposed to be doing a ‘bomb drop’ to start them!” shares Baker. “They should be really good!” Naples City started hosting these fireworks in 2017 as a way of building a sense of community in Naples and inviting visitors to come enjoy what Naples has to offer. Come tonight and watch from your car or dress extra warm and come watch from the grass.
