Maeser Elementary is making the most of their May, ensuring that their students not only work hard but are making lifelong memories. This week they were able to celebrate a successful service project following weeks of performing acts of kindness. On Wednesday, the kids had yet another memorable experience, playing dodgeball with law officers from multiple Uintah County agencies. “The officers may have had more fun than the students,” shares Vernal City Assistant Police Chief Keith Campbell. “Vernal Police Department was asked if they would participate and eagerly said YES.” The Uintah County Sheriff’s Office also had a great time and took to Facebook, thanking the staff and kids of Maeser Elementary. They said they had a blast and can’t wait to do it again next year. Sounds like a new tradition has begun!
