Identities Released in Double Fatal Crash in Duchesne County on Highway 40

Utah Highway Patrol has released the identities of the two people killed in a single vehicle crash that took place Saturday in Duchesne County. Utah Highway Patrol released that the occupants of the vehicle have been identified as 27-year-old Austin P Graph-Liley and 38-year-old Kristin A Thompson both of Salt Lake City. The crash happened on Saturday afternoon on Highway 40 just west of milepost 66. The 1997 Jeep Cherokee was traveling east when the driver failed to negotiate a curve and after overcorrecting and overturning the occupants were both ejected and sustained fatal injuries. UHP shared in a press release that alcohol impairment as well as lack of seatbelt use is being investigated in the crash and to determine who was driving.
