Free Fishing Day Events

June 10th is Free Fishing Day in Utah and the Division of Wildlife Resources is holding three events in northeastern Utah. “If you have a spouse, teenager, or a friend who you want to introduce to fishing,” shares DWR biologist Randy Oplinger, “Free Fishing Day is a great day and way to do it. Equipment you can borrow will be available at most of the events and so will volunteers who can help you and your kids to fish.” Those with their own equipment are urged to bring it. Events are being held in Daggett County at the Green’s Lake, in Uintah County at Matt Warner Reservoir, and in Duchesne County at the Lower Stillwater Ponds. The events start at 9:00am.
