Today is the first day for summer day trips through Uintah County Travel and Tourism. Every Wednesday through July 26th a new adventure is available starting today with the trip to Fantasy Canyon. Next Wednesday is to the Jones Hole Fish Hatchery. The group meets each week on Wednesday in the parking lot of the Utah Field House at 496 East Main at 9:00am in order to caravan to the destination. This is year 6 for the summer day trips, explains Travel and Tourism Director Lesha Coltharp. Sometimes people are afraid they might get lost on these trips on their own so it is great for them to join us and be part of the caravan, shares Coltharp. Other destinations this year will include McCoy Flats, Moonshine Arch, and Ouray Bird/Wildlife Refuge, among others. All are welcome!
