A Daggett County man has been charged after allegedly ramming his vehicle into occupied patrol vehicles and assaulting deputies after being arrested for domestic violence. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, Officers responded to a call at a Manila residence of domestic violence on the evening of July 17. The accused man fled in a vehicle when officers arrived, then returned, and began ramming patrol vehicles, including one with the Sheriff inside. His vehicle was disabled while ramming one of the patrol vehicles head on. 24-year-old Victor John Ezell was arrested and has been charged with multiple counts of felony assault. Ezell continued to fight officers after being arrested. Victims with injuries were also found inside the Manila home.
