Drivers can expect delays when traveling through Indian Canyon. UDOT began a resurfacing project of an 11-mile section of U.S. 191 on Monday, April 30th. The work has begun at the junction of U.S. 6 and 191 and will run to Jones Hollow at approximately milepost 271.

A child abduction in Grand Junction last Wednesday afternoon lead police to Rifle where the child was eventually safely recovered and the suspect shot himself when found by police. On April 25th, 12-year-old Raeanna Rosencrans was observed by witnesses willingly getting into a vehicle.
