KNEU 1250The Cottonwood Fire, reported on Saturday in the Ashley National Forest Flaming Gorge Ranger District, is now contained. According to the Ashley National Forest, the fire was contained at approximately 18 acres and the cause remains under investigation.
The Allen Fire in Daggett County has been held to 40 acres as of last report and remains at 90 percent contained. Utah Fire Info reports that command of the fire transitioned from a Type 3 to a Type 4 organization on Sunday morning.
