Crews are making progress on the Moon Lake Road Fire that was called in on Sunday, July 19th around 2:15pm. The fire, located north of the Lake Fork bridge along the Moon Lake road on tribal lands, has burned an estimated 261 acres.

TriCounty Health Department announced on Monday the first West Nile Virus positive pool of the year has come from a water body in the Thunder Ridge area, confirmed by the Ute Indian Tribe Mosquito Abatement.

Paving Underway on Highway 40 UDOT Project in Gusher

Crews are set to begin paving operations starting today on the north side of Highway 40 between Lapoint Highway and Cottonwood Road as part of the UDOT project in Gusher. “There will be several hours [Tuesday] afternoon when the paving operation will block access to driveways and side roads on the northside of US-40,” shares the UDOT update.
