Community involvement is invited as Duchesne County considers amendments to its general plan. The amendments being considered are needed in order to comply with the County Resource Management Planning requirements under Utah Code.
The Uintah County Library will soon have new computers for public use thanks to a state grant. According to Library Director Sam Passey, the $10,000 dollar grant was awarded by the State of Utah Library Division. It is considered a Community Library Enhancement Fund or CLEF grant.

A 29-year-old Craig man suffered fatal injuries in a single car accident on Highway 40 Tuesday. According to Colorado State Patrol, the man was the passenger in a vehicle driven by a 21-year-old Craig woman.
