KNEU 1250A former Daggett County deputy has settled charges in court related to the Daggett County Jail scandal. 42-year-old Rodrigo Toledo entered a guilty plea in Summit County Court for one count of official misconduct.

The Uintah County Commission approved adoption of the 2017 General Plan during Monday’s Commission meeting. City Planner Matt Cazier presented the plan to those in attendance stating that they have been going through this process for a little more than a year and that the resource management plan, which is part of the General Plan, was approved in August to meet a state deadline.

The two men and their giant ballpoint pen, passed through Vernal last week as they walk a route of about 250 miles through northeastern Utah, northwestern Colorado, and southern Wyoming.
