BLM Approves Natural Gas Permits In Uintah County

The Bureau of Land Management Vernal Field Office has approved several new natural gas permits in Uintah County. Applicant Koda GNB LLC has been authorized to drill up to fourteen gas wells from the approved Raptor 15 Well Pad. The project location is on BIA-administered lands in Uintah County. Applicant Koda Uinta LLC has been authorized to horizontally drill two natural gas wells from the Moffit 43-27-723 Well Pad. The Environmental Analysis also analyzed constructing the pad with associated infrastructure, including an access road, powerline, and pipelines. The project location is approximately 23 miles southeast of Vernal in Uintah County. Koda Uinta LLC has also been authorized to drill natural gas wells from the existing MM 44-20-822 well pad to produce from an existing federal mineral lease where no new surface disturbance would occur. The project location is on BLM-administered surface in Uintah County.
