‘Ballin’ 4 Burklee’: Local Family Giving Back Through Tournament Fundraiser

A local family is giving back after a local non-profit organization helped them through a tragic and painful time last year. On April 4th, 2017, Shawn and Sierra Williams lost their daughter, Burklee Ann, while 30 weeks pregnant. During that difficult time, Brody’s Fund, the non-profit that helps families financially after a miscarriage or stillborn, stepped up to relieve some of the financial stress of their loss. Full of gratitude, the Williams began talking about fundraisers they could be part of to contribute to Brody’s Fund in order to help others. When the Williams lost another baby girl during pregnancy
on December 12th
, they became even more motivated to make something happen and plans for the 5 Man Softball Tournament Fundraiser and Raffle really became a priority. The ‘Ballin’ 4 Burklee’ softball tournament is being held
April 14th
at the Roosevelt Constitution Park. All proceeds will go to Brody’s Fund. The entry fee is $150 dollars per team. Raffle items and prizes to be given away for winning teams and contests are still being collected. Any contributions or donations would be greatly appreciated. Contact Shawn Williams at
