Roosevelt City has provided updates on a few projects. The Ballard 1000 South Road Realignment Project that will connect 1000 South in Ballard and 800 South in Roosevelt is making progress. Crews have focused on the box culvert over the past few weeks, having poured the top of the box culvert and completing the aprons on both the upstream and downstream sides. “Crews are now working on forming the wingwalls, with plans to begin backfilling around the box culvert within the next week or so,” shares the announcement. The 800 East sidewalk project also continues to move forward. “Crews have been busy removing the existing curb that will be replaced as part of the project,” shares the announcement. “They’ve also been cutting asphalt and preparing the new sidewalk area, including getting it ready for road base.” Patience is appreciated as work continues.
