Donations Needed For Annual Rotary Coat & Hoodie Drive

Clean out the closets. Grab a coat or hoodie at the store. It’s time for the Rotary Club’s annual Winter Coat and Hoodie Drive. Of this important cause, Rotary Area Governor Shannon Reyes has said the annual coat drive is about one thing: helping people in need stay warm during the winter. “It provides essential clothing to those who can't afford it, protecting them from the cold and preventing health issues,” shares Reyes. “Donating to the coat drive is a great way to give back to your community and support those less fortunate.” New and gently used coat and hoodie donations of all sizes and for all ages can be dropped off in Vernal at Davis Food & Drug, the Uintah County Library, and State Farm. Donations are being accepted October 1st through the 25th and then the free coat event will take place on November 3rd from 3 to 6pm at the Uintah County Library.
