Uintah Basin Healthcare Breaks Ground on Vernal Campus Expansion
Uintah Basin Healthcare broke ground last Thursday on their Vernal campus expansion project. “We have achieved many milestones in the past ten years,” shared Uintah Basin Healthcare in a press release. “…Facility expansion has included opening new clinic space in Roosevelt and Vernal, an expanded ER, a respiratory and sleep center, and now plans to expand both our Roosevelt and Vernal campus to grow services basin-wide.
Utah Reports Duchesne County Man Among Weekend Deaths From Coronavirus
One of the three deaths reported on Sunday in the State of Utah came from the Uintah Basin. According to the State of Utah, among the deaths was a Duchesne County man between the ages of 25 and 44.
Gray Wolves Delisted from Endangered Species Act
Recently the gray wolf was delisted from the Endangered Species Act. Great news for the gray wolf and it opens up the states to find the best situation to manage populations. High Transmission Index Level Announced for Uintah and Duchesne Counties
TriCounty Health Department announced Thursday that while Daggett County remains in the Low COVID-19 Transmission Level, Uintah and Duchesne Counties have been moved from Moderate to the High Transmission Level.

Local Halloween Activities
