An armed Moffat County man was shot by Sheriff’s deputies after pointing his weapon at them. According to the Saguache County Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement received a report of a man with a gun on Sunday morning in Saguache County. Multiple agencies responded and 45-year-old Jason Ingalsbe of Moffat County exited the home yelling and pointing his gun at the law enforcement agents. Two deputies fired and Ingalsbe was apprehended. He was treated at a hospital for a gunshot wound. After his release he was arrested and booked into jail on attempted 1st Degree Assault and Felony Menacing. Both deputies that fired at Ingalsbe have been placed on administrative leave during the investigation of the incident.
