The Uintah FFA Career Development teams did great last week at the state competition at USU in Logan. The Food Science team won. Team members include Sidney Anderson, Marlee Merrell, Kenna Dudley, and Addison Gress. Anderson placed as the 2nd high individual and Merrell placed as the 3rd high individual. The Poultry team also won. Team members include Taieylor George, Weston Slaugh, Finn Holthus, and Ryan Madsen. George was the 1st high individual in the category. Many other Uintah teams placed well in the competitions and Daisy Liebhardt won a $1,000 scholarship for her efforts in vet science. The Agronomy, Food Science and Poultry Uintah High teams will compete at Nationals in October. The Soils Team will compete in its national event the first week in May.
