The “Caring for Coy” program was started when two community members, Jeremy & Nicole Maycock lost their newborn son, Coy. Big changes have occurred in the Roosevelt City leadership. On Friday, Roosevelt City announced the hiring of Scott Finlayson as the new City Manager. Finlayson has 22 years of work experience in law enforcement and public administration on the Wasatch Front, most recently as the Assistant City Manager in Herriman City.

Roosevelt City announced Monday that they are saying goodbye to their Chief of Police. “Roosevelt Police Chief Rick Harrison voluntarily resigned from his position over the weekend,” shares their announcement. “He was hired to serve as Chief of the Roosevelt Police Department in 2005 and spent over 15 years serving and protecting the citizens of Roosevelt City and the surrounding area.
