Study of Women Holding Leadership Roles Shows Low Local Representation
The Utah Women and Leadership Project recently released the discoveries the team found in its third and final quantitative look at the leadership in Utah’s public sector. Women hold 29.1 percent of municipal leadership positions, which is lower compared to leaders in Utah state and county governments which are both at 40 percent.

Husband Arrested in Rock Springs Shooting Death of Wife
An arrest has been made in the June shooting death of a Rock Springs woman. 45-year-old Jason Lee Fletcher was arrested on Friday for the shooting death of his wife 46-year-old Lena Lynn Fletcher at their Rock Springs home on June 29th.

Sunday’s COVID-19 Situational Update on www.tricountyhealth.com reports that local cases have continued to tick up. There are 148 active cases as of Sunday; 91 of those are in Uintah County, 46 are in Duchesne County, and 11 are within the Ute Indian Tribe.
