Bomb Squad Disarms Pot of Stew

A suspicious looking object on the side of I-80 caused serious concern on Tuesday in Sweetwater County. According to the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office, bomb technicians were called in when an object, suspected to be a pressure cooker bomb, was spotted on the ground at a truck parking area 35 miles east of Rock Springs.

According to the Vernal Police Probable Cause statement, 27-year-old Zachary David Perrin was arrested on August 17th as he tried to flee from the Basin but was stopped in Duchesne County and brought into custody.
