A woman is facing drug charges, including a felony distribution charge, in Uintah County. According to the Probable Cause Statement, 42-year-old Shantele Marie Christofferson was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for an equipment violation in April. Christofferson was found to have a scale on her person as well as a bag of meth with two eight balls. The scale that was on Christofferson had a large amount of Methamphetamine residue on it. The total weight of the Methamphetamine in the bag was 7.82 grams. Shantele Marie Christofferson has been charged with 2nd Degree Felony Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
