Watch Out for Little Ghosts and Goblins Trick-Or-Treating this Halloween

by | Oct 31, 2018 | News | 0 comments

Little ghosts, goblins, superheroes, and princesses will be swarming neighborhoods throughout the Basin today and all should make safety their top priority. Drivers should remain cautious and aware that some children may be difficult to see. Parents should teach their children safety rules for traveling on sidewalks and crossing streets. Children under the age of 12 should especially not be alone at night without adult supervision and those that have been trusted to be out alone should stay in groups in familiar neighborhoods that are well lit.  It’s a good idea for trick-or-treaters to carry reflectors and a flashlight to increase visibility. Decorate costumes with glow sticks and anything that will increase their visibility to others. And finally, remember that damaging the property of others is not a trick. It is illegal! Have fun, be safe, and act responsibly this Halloween!
