Two Vehicle Accident Monday on Highway 40 in Vernal

A two vehicle accident in Vernal resulted in injuries Monday before noon. According to a Vernal City Police news release, officers responded to a reported injury accident at
100 West Main Street
on October 29th. “Investigation revealed that an eastbound red Chevrolet truck occupied by a single driver failed to stop at the signal resulting in a collision with a northbound white Toyota passenger car. The Toyota had two juvenile passengers and was being driven by an adult female. Emergency Medical Personnel and Extrication responded to the scene,” shares police. “The adult female was transported by Ambulance to the Ashley Regional Medical Center Emergency Room.” Police also confirmed that the driver of the Chevrolet truck was issued a citation for Failure to Stop at a Traffic Control Signal.
