Now is the time for the community to give their input on what they would like to see developed on the Vernal Community Block, often called the Lamplighter Block. For those that would like a closer look than just driving by, Vernal City is hosting a Design Workshop and Tours of the property on May 1st. Come to Vernal City Hall to view the displays and leave comments and the 50-minute walking tours will start from there at Vernal City Hall at the top of each hour at 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, and 5pm. The goal is to provide community members a chance to have boots on the ground, see what is actually there, and the potential of what can realistically be done. Then people will be equipped with first hand knowledge as they take the survey online and provide opinions and input. There is a QR code posted at the Lamplighter block that links to the survey. It can also be accessed on the Vernal City Facebook and Instagram accounts as well as through www.vernal.gov.
