The Ute boys baseball team started their series with Mountain View Tuesday in Orem.
The Utes took the early lead, but the Bruins rallied for four runs in the seventh to send the game to extra innings. The Utes pounded out four runs in the top of the eighth for the 10-6 victory. Cooper Goodrich had a double and homer in the win.
The Utes host the Bruins Wednesday.
