The Ute boys baseball team headed to Morgan Monday taking on the Trojans. The Utes built an early lead and held off a seventh inning Trojan 4 run comeback for the 9-8 victory. Rykan Hacking and Jackson Erickson each tripled in the win.
They kicked off region play Wednesday hosting Summit Academy. The Utes took the early lead, but the Bears reeled them back in to take the lead. A three run sixth inning gave the Utes the region victory 9-7.
They visit Summit Academy Friday.
