The Union boys baseball team played their two game series with the Ben Lomons Scots last week. First traveling to Ogden on Tax day Tuesday. The Cougars had a 12 run inning in third inning on their way to a 21-4 mercy ruled victory. Ryan Oakey and Gannon Labrum each went long in the win.
Then Thursday, the Cougars hosted the Scots. A seven run second inning and Chase Nielson only giving up three hits led to an 11-1 mercy ruled victory. Chase helped his own cause with a home run and two RBIs and Tyson Marx doubled and homered in the win.
