The Union boys baseball team finished first in Region 13 and third in the 3A RPI rankings. The Cougars will kick off the 3A tournament with a best of three series, taking on the 14th ranked Judge Memorial Bulldogs at home Thursday and Friday. Game 1 is Thursday at 4pm with game 2 Friday at 1pm. If necessary, game three will be played roughly a half hour after game two.
Comparing like opponents, the Cougars have defeated teams that have beat the Bulldogs.
If the Cougars emerge as victors, they will travel to Utah Valley University on Monday for a double elimination tourney culminating on Saturday the 17th.
