The Uintah High School Student of the Week is Nadya Polendo, nominated by Mr. Brian Clark. “Nadya is a wonderful student,” shares Mr. Clark. “She is full of life and energy, and there is always a smile on her face. Nadya works hard and puts in a lot of effort to make sure her grades are always good. She is friendly to the other students and helps them out every chance she can. She is very intelligent and funny [and] lives life to the fullest but also knows when to be serious and get to work.” Congratulations Nadya Polendo, Uintah Student of the Week. The Ute Athlete of the Week is sophomore baseball player Kyler Murray, nominated by Coach Brent Labrum. “Kyler is a left handed pitcher and also plays in the outfield,” shares Coach Labrum. “Kyler is one of our main varsity pitchers and he has had some great performances this year. He has a great pick off move to first base that really frustrates other teams. Kyler is very athletic and has a great future ahead of him. He is also a great student with a 4.0 GPA.” Congratulations Kyler Murray, Ute Athlete of the Week.
