Uintah High Theatre experienced some big wins over the weekend. The 16th Annual Utah High School Musical Theatre Awards were held at the Eccles Theatre in Salt Lake City. The students and support members of theatre programs across the state that were nominated in the top 10 of the award categories performed during the evening of announcing winners. Uintah’s Caleb Harrison won in the Best Supporting Actor category for his portrayal of Olaf in Uintah’s spring production of Disney’s Frozen: The Broadway Musical. The other big win for Uintah Theatre was Best Lighting for the second year in a row thanks to the work of lighting designer Keith Larsen. Uintah Theatre also had nominations for Best Costume Design and Best Scenic Design. Congratulations to the entire Uintah Theatre team!
