Uintah School District held their annual Employee Appreciation Banquet on Thursday night at the Uintah Conference Center. The night focused on recognizing teachers and support professionals for their years of service. 14 employees were recognized for 20 years of service, 5 employees were recognized for 25 years of service, 2 were recognized for 30 years, and 11 employees were recognized for 31 or more years. Especially worth mentioning are Judy Foley with 41 years of teaching, Ruth Ann Nelson with 43 years, and Jeni Gudac with 48 years serving in the District! The evening also recognized Maeser Elementary teacher Alisa Atherton as the District’s Teacher of the Year, and school nurse Meredith Manwaring as the District’s Education Support Professional of the Year.
