Uintah High Represents Well at Sterling Scholar Awards

The 2019-2020 Northeast Region Sterling Scholar Awards took place via an online program on Thursday, May 7th. Everyone was invited to take part of the very first time this event was held as an online event. If you happened to tune in, your Uintah Basin pride would have swelled as Uintah High School had three winners and four runners-up in this year’s competition. Winners include Devony Cook in Agricultural Science, Taylee Elison in Business and Marketing and Michelle Semandeni in Mathematics. Runner-ups are Bethan Christensen in Computer Technology, Amanda LeVitre in English, Kenandi Colton in Speech, Theater Arts and Forensics, and Anekah Bullcoh in Visual Arts. Congratulations to these high achieving youth and thank you for representing the Basin so well!
