A Uintah High School Junior has set herself up to be highly competitive over the next year of the college admissions and scholarship applications process by accomplishing something incredibly rare. Uintah student Lois Lyman earned a perfect score of 36 on the ACT. The ACT is a standardized test used for college admissions in the United States and covers the four academic skill areas of English, Mathematics, Reading, and Scientific Reasoning. Uintah School District shared with Lois’ exciting news that more than a million high school students take the ACT test each year and unsurprisingly, a 36 is the rarest score of all. It’s estimated that only 0.25% of all test takers earn a perfect score. Congratulations to Uintah High School Junior Lois Lyman on this incredible and rare accomplishment!
