With a 16-7 season season, the Uintah girls softball team finish 5th in the RPI rankings earning them a bye for the first week of the 4A state tournament.
The Utes await the results of the clash between 12th ranked Hurricane and 21st ranked Mountain View happening this weekend.
The Utes have not played Hurricane. In Region 8 play, the Utes won both games against Mountain View, with their last game at home where they demolished the Bruins in a mercy ruled 15-0 victory.
