Uintah DECA Students Headed to Nashville

A group of students from the Uintah High School DECA chapter will be attending the International Career and Development Conference in Nashville next week. 15 students from Uintah competed in the Utah DECA Competition last February in Layton. Tyler Gross, Emily Hakert, Daven Siddoway, Sarah Chandler, Devin Bain, Heidi Daniel, and Hunter Jensen all placed in the top 20 and moved on to the finals in their events. Rylan Nash, Devin Bain and Wyatt Norton placed 2nd in their Sports and Entertainment Promotion Plan while Emily Hakert, Tyler Gross and Brinley Bingham placed first with their Public Relations Project. These 6 students move on and will be representing Uintah High School at the national competition. Congratulations and good luck to the Uintah DECA chapter as they represent Vernal in Nashville next week.
