Uintah County Treasurer Warns Taxpayers About Fraudulent Letter 11

by | Sep 30, 2019 | News | 0 comments

If you have been one of the Uintah County residents that received a letter from Vesper Properties and do not know what to do, please pay attention. Wendi Long, the Uintah County Treasurer, announced that any taxpayer who has or does receive such a letter needs to know that it is NOT being sent in any official capacity from the Uintah County Treasurer’s office and neither is it a demand for payment. In fact, Uintah County has NO affiliation with this company. The county treasurer has made contact with Vesper Properties and learned that the letters are being sent to residents that were on an old delinquent list. As such, the county treasurer has requested that all those from Uintah County be taken off their mailing list. Taxpayers are reminded that if you happen to have any concerns involving individual property taxes then be sure to contact the Treasurer’s Office directly.
