Uintah County has distributed their Sample Ballot for the General Election being held on November 3rd. For Federal Office, voters will have the opportunity to vote among 6 candidates for U.S. House District 3. Races for State Office include Senate District 20 between incumbent Ronald Winterton (Republican) and Annette McRae with the Forward Party, and House District 68 between incumbent Scott Chew (Republican) and Sonya Ray with the Constitution Party. Races for County Office were mostly determined during the Primary Election though the race for Uintah County Commission Seat B is between Joe McKea (Republican) and Ronald Richards with the Constitution Party. Uintah School Board Seat #2 also has two candidates: incumbent Denise Maynard and Jared Putman. A list of judges will be voted on for Judicial Retention, including local Judge Ray Richards. Finally, there are three County Ballot Questions, including Proposition #9, Constitutional Amendment A, and Constitutional Amendment B.
