The Uintah County Republican Party has issued its official Call to Convention. The 2025 Organizing Convention will be held April 24th. The evening will include reports from the party’s elected officials, the election of officers for 2025, and the ratification of amendments to the county platform and bylaws. One change to item 12 of the platform was the insertion of the words, “We affirm that there are 2 sexes, male and female”, approved by unanimous vote during the February 18th committee meeting. The Convention on April 24th starts at 6pm and is being held in the Vernal City Community Room. All delegates are requested to bring a valid government issued ID.
