Uintah County has provided a report on the first quarter of 2026: The Recorder’s Office has processed 298 more documents this year than last with over $167,000 generated by recording fees and the subscription website. Most of the subscription revenue comes from outside of Utah. This quarter, the Uintah County Purchasing and Grants team in collaboration with Trails Lead Mike Cook secured funding for the Buckskin Hills Enduro Course which will provide a place that motorcycle riders will train and build skills. The Uintah County Landfill recently installed 24-foot movable portable wind fences to capture windblown debris. The Conference Center has hosted 70 events with 14,691 attendees. The Library has welcomed 10,431 visitors, hosted 160 programs, and had over 25,000 checkouts. Finally, the Western Park has hosted 85 events with 31,500 attendees while there has also been 58 events at the ice rink with 15,000 attendees.
