On the heels of Abraham Lincoln’s actual birthday, the Uintah County Lincoln Day Dinner is being held this Saturday. The event begins with an opportunity to meet the candidates running for Uintah County offices up for election this year as well as those running for Senate District 26. “This is for all members of the community that want to hear from the candidates that have filed,” shares Uintah County Republican Chairman Pam Clinch. “It’s a great time to come and get to know them as well as speak with other elected officials.” Lt. Governor Spencer Cox, Representative Rob Bishop, and other officials will have booths there and each be given a moment to speak. The keynote speaker is Thomas Wright, the National Committeeman for the State of Utah Republican Party. “We’re excited to have him coming,” shares Clinch. “He is an enthusiastic person with a great message.” Saturday’s event
starts at 5pm
with a Meet and Greet, followed by dinner and speakers
starting at 6pm
at the Uintah Conference Center.
