Uintah County Heritage Museum Shares About Lives Of African American Soldiers

The books offered are among the popular features shared at the Uintah Heritage Museum and this month includes a display for Black History Month. “These books delve further into the lives of African American Soldiers in the nineteenth century,” shares the announcement. The books include ‘The Buffalo Soldiers: A Narrative of the Black Cavalry in the West’, ‘Voices of the Buffalo Soldier: Records, Reports, and Recollections of Military Life and Service in the West’, and ‘Black Officer in a Buffalo Soldier Regiment: The Military Career of Charles Young’.
